Jim Morrison

James Douglas Morrison, more frequently called Jim Morrison was born On December 8 th 1943 in Melbourne In Florida. His father was an admiral in the American navy that’s why his family always moved. In 1964, Jim left home to study the cinema and theatre in the west coast.

He met the poet William Blake and the philosopher Friedrich Nietzche, and let his studies for the poetry. In class, he met Ray Manzareck and they created The Doors with Robbie Krieger and John Densmore.

The name of the group came from The Doors Perception, a book about the Aldous Huxley’s mescaline. Jim Morrison became a star and his excess empired more and more.

In 1971, after exhausted tour and some depressions, Jim Morrison went to Paris with his wife Pamela and he wrote some poetry.

He was found, dead in his bathroom on July 3td 1971. He had an heart attack. He was also 27 years old.

He was bury in the cemetery of “Le père Lachaise” in Paris .
